Project Overview

Etihad Rail is the UAE's flagship national railway network, spanning over 900 km and connecting all seven emirates for the first time. Stage Two, currently under construction, links Abu Dhabi to the UAE's northern borders and includes a critical Dubai corridor that will revolutionise intercity travel.

The passenger service between Abu Dhabi and Dubai will reduce travel time to approximately 50 minutes, compared to 90 minutes by road. This transformative connectivity creates a unified Abu Dhabi–Dubai economic corridor, enabling professionals to live in one emirate and work in the other without compromise.

The project represents a total investment of approximately AED 50 billion and is considered a cornerstone of the UAE's post-oil economic diversification strategy, with profound implications for property markets along the entire route.
