The project

About Water Gardens

Water Gardens is a four-building, mixed-use development by H&H in DIFC, revealed in mid-October 2026. Designed by Sir David Chipperfield and spanning more than 174,000 square metres, it combines branded residences, a five-star hotel, offices, restaurants and shops on one of the last plots in the original DIFC Gate District masterplan.

The design team is exceptional: interiors by Studio Patricia Urquiola, Tihany Design and Tristan Auer, dining and retail by StudioKKD, and landscape by Bureau Bas Smets. The scheme links directly to Gate Avenue and sits around 300 metres from Financial Centre metro; the office building targets LEED Platinum.

Construction has started with completion targeted for 2028 — a comparatively short horizon for a project of this calibre. Residential pricing and unit counts had not been published at reveal.
