About VELA, Dorchester Collection
VELA is Omniyat’s Marasi Bay Dorchester Collection tower — 30 storeys designed by Foster + Partners with interiors by Gilles & Boissier, completing Q4 2027.
The unit mix is unusual: Marina Residences, Sky Residences, Penthouses and a Sky Palace, in simplex and duplex formats. Sizes start at 4,253 sq ft, which means there is no small stock in the building at all — every home is a large-format residence.
Marasi Bay is Omniyat’s own waterfront district on the Dubai Canal, so the surrounding environment is developer-controlled rather than dependent on a wider masterplan. For buyers at this level that consistency of quality across the district matters as much as the building itself.
